Jeff Holding - E77 wins South Australian 1968 John Cruett Perpetual Trophy Race

The 1968 John Cruett Perpetual Trophy Race was held at "Rowley Park" in Adelaide and several drivers from Eudunda went and contested the event.

In Jeff's words, "I don't remember much about the night, but one thing that I do remember was, several weeks prior to the event when I was racing, Viv Wilks came in contact with my car and put me into the fence".

"During the championship race, Viv and myself were running neck and neck for quite some time and he tried to pass me but came in contact with my car again, however, this time he spun out and was T Boned by another car and was unable to continue, which allowed me to go on and win the event".

"At the end of the day, I felt that justice was done".
