2014 - 50th Year Reunion of the conducting of the Australian TQ Championships - The Event

The event commenced at 10:00am with a display of information and photos of the history of the "Point Pass Speedway" and the "1964 Australian TQ Championships", plus bikes and cars.

Sidecars

The 2 Sidecars displayed by the Bichard Family. The sidecar on the left was raced by Deane Taylor and the right was raced by Dave Parker.

The "Official" part of the event took place as planned with the MC (Master of Ceremonies) for the Eudunda Show Society, Mr. Paul Schiller introducing the MC for the reunion Mr. Peter Stapleton and the Promoter of the event Mr. Adrian Menzel who conducted the session. This took place in the marquee that the Eudunda Show Society had erected on the oval for their opening and other official duties that took place on the day.

During the "Official Proceedings" Adrian Menzel read out the history of the "Point Pass Speedway", Mr. Brian Latz (The last President of the Club) conducted the Opening and Peter Stapleton interviewed Brian Latz, Jeff Holding and Keith Bichard.

At the end of the session Adrian Menzel thanked Peter Stapleton for him being the MC, the Eudunda Show Society for allowing the reunion to be conducted at their show, the persons who bought their cars and bikes that were displayed, anyone else that assisted with the event and the public for coming to the show and in particular those that viewed the display.
